This is Chrysanthemum 6 + 10% 36-mesh charcoal for more, longer-hanging sparks. Best pumped. I like to dissolve the KN03 in 0.41 its weight of boiling water, then add the other screened ingredients all at once, after the heat source has been turned off. Once that moisture/KN03 has
been integrated, and repeatedly screened into the comp, the moisture content ends up being about +15%, and is perfect for pumping. It can help to allow the damp comp to temper in a sealed container for a couple hours, or overnight. The damp comp then pumps to a density of about 0.9 ounces per cubic inch. (Ned Gorski)
