Sulfur increases the sensitivity of the perchlorate in the presence of fine powdered aluminum, though not to the level of chlorate and aluminum. Avoid all sources of friction when mixing!
While not a strong flash, this formula helps get the cost down when making salutes that require a lot of flash.
